RSMD Aesthetics Training

RSMD Training is an extension of Dr. Small’s acclaimed Practical Guide medical textbook series and her injectable curriculum at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. This structured learning pathway progresses from foundational to advanced treatments using expertly designed Courses, Cases, and Precepting.
The RSMD methodology is academically rigorous, informed by more than 20 years of hands-on clinical experience, and designed to help you achieve procedural expertise and deliver results that meet the highest standards of care.

Originator of the Safety Zone

“In the first edition of my toxin book, I introduced Safety Zones—a helpful framework to guide new providers in delivering safe and effective botulinum toxin treatments. Since 2012, it’s been rewarding to see this concept become a lasting resource in helping reduce complications and build confidence in medical aesthetics.”
